Aha Aina a Royal Celebration

The Royal Hawaiian - Aha Aina a Royal Celebration

Waikiki’s history is full of tales featuring island royalty, large feasts, and beautiful settings. The Royal Hawaiian Resort now sits on one of the royalty playgrounds for these events called Hellumoa. To celebrate Hellumoa and this rich history they offer Aha ‘aina – a feast of food, mele (song), and hula so that everyone can experience Hawaiian Royalty. This feast is held every Monday night on the Ocean Lawn of the Royal Hawaiian.

You can be a part of this tradition by reserving your spot with Luau-Hawaii and Hawaii Discount! You’ll participate in Aha ‘Aina through three spectacular acts. The first is a chance to participate in traditional Hawaiian activities such as kappa-making, poi-pounding, and na lawai’a. The second is a call to feast where you’ll dine on pupu while a storyteller shares the meaning of lei giving, the ocean and taro. Following dinner is the third act that is a remarkable performance of hula and song commemorating the Hellumoa story. This is truly a party fit for kings and queens! Don’t miss out on it – book your spot today!
