Luau Kalamaku
Taking place at the historic Kilohana Plantation near Lihue, Luau Kalamaku is a truly unique Hawaiian luau in that it offers many extras, such as an optional train ride through the plantation. Also, their luau show features twice as many dancers than any other Kauai luau.
Other activities that are being offered prior to the big luau dinner include arts & crafts demonstrations and the traditional imu ceremony, where you can watch how the ancient Hawaiians cooked their food in earthen ovens. Then sit down to a mouthwatering buffet dinner (see menu below). After dinner, enjoy a spectacular Polynesian show that pays tribute to the ancient navigators who sailed across the South Pacific to reach Hawaii.

Train ride: This is an additional upgrade. Prior to the luau feast, enjoy a train ride through the 105 acres of the Kalamaku Plantation. The train takes you by historic plantation homes, through a lowland forest and pineapple, taro and sugarcane fields. This adventure also includes a stop to feed the plantation's herd of wild pigs, goats and sheep, plus you'll get to see their cattle, horses, clydesdales and donkeys.

- Potato Macaroni Salad: Potatoes, macaroni, onion, celery
seeds, garlic, green onion, mayonnaise, salt and pepper. *Contains

If you are on the south or west side of Kauai, head EAST. Kilohana Plantation is located directly after the Kauai Community College on the left-hand side of the road. Look for the white picket fence. The luau is located next to the Kauai Plantation Railway station at the far left end of the parking lot.
Transportation add-on: Transportation is roundtrip and per person. Depending on the location, pick-up is between 3:30 pm and 4:45 pm. Exact times will be emailed to you. If you are not staying at one of the locations listed below, pick-up will be at the closest location to where you are staying.
